Welcome to Ultimate Audio,

Started in June 2022 by Tim Henwood, after a decade in the car audio industry.

The first step was getting a work vehicle and fitting it out to be a mobile workshop and demonstration car.

The Ultimate Audio VW Transporter has been an incredible choice and has an audio system that has evolved over time into something really special. 

With low expectations we got off to a good start and with the challenges that lay ahead of small business have kept it going strong. 

We are very proud to have the best partners in he industry from suppliers to other businesses that we work closely with.

In January of 2023 to have attended the PS Sound training here in Melbourne with Peter Steinbacher was an amazing opportunity. 3 days and almost 50 hrs from 8-9am through to the early morning hours we learnt more than ever imagined possible and continue learning every day more and more.

The industry is forever changing and adapting as more new and unique cars are made and with the aweful quality of fully integrated audio systems we are entering a new world in which the use of dsp (digital signal proccessing) is not an option but a neccessity. System design is super important with driver selection, location and installation all contributing to the outcome.

It is our goal to provide the best quality advice and products to suit your specific application and budget from just a radio replacment to full high end audio systems.
